TCEU Local 416 members working in the Parks & Recreation division work hard to beautify Toronto’s communities and bring people together year round! By maintaining public parks, playgrounds, gardens, trees, forests, golf courses, sports fields and turf, our members keep the city looking clean and green. They preserve wildlife and promote native plant growth, while keeping invasive species at bay, and they help install and maintain memorials in public spaces across Toronto.
Plus, our members also keep ice rinks, pools, community centres and greenhouses running smoothly 365 days a year! They even work at the High Park Zoo, Riverdale Farm and Toronto Island ferries. TCEU Local 416 members are there for you to help keep our flowers blooming and our gathering places booming by caring for the spaces where you play, enjoy nature and get active every day.
