• Generate funds for the City of Toronto to reinvest in other important services for all Torontonians

When Toronto Parking Authority workers suspected the City might be seeking to privatize Green P parking lots in the fall of 2017, TCEU Local 416 made it clear that Toronto should keep Green P parking public! Experiences of other cities, like Chicago, have shown that privatization can mean severe increases to parking prices and the loss of important income receive by the city from public parking lots.  Local 416 members continue to deliver quality service and maintain affordable parking rates for Torontonians, and are proud to do so each and every day!
