The Toronto Municipal Employees’ Credit Union (TMECU) is sponsoring two young people aged 14-18 to attend a week-long leadership camp this summer!
The Co-operative Young Leaders Program (CYL) is often recognized as a life-changing opportunity for young people to develop self-confidence, problem-solving skills, team building and experience camp activities like swimming, canoeing, and campfires.
The CYL program takes place in Almer, ON at the Co-operative Education Center between June and July in 2018. Please see program dates here.
Who Can Apply?
Immediate family of TMECU members, COTAPSA, Local 79, and Local 416 members.
How to Enter?
Write a 1-page essay about “who is your most influential leader, and how have they affected you?”
Send the Essay to marketing@tmecu.com with a brief description of yourself including your age and contact information and your connection to the City of Toronto employees by May 31, 2018.
